Neil Gaiman In The New Yorker

Pick up this week’s New Yorker magazine.* You’ll not only beĀ  treated to a chilling article on the cryonics movement, you’ll also get a wonderful profile on Neil Gaiman. Book lovers are well aware of the numerous literary treats which with Mr. Gaiman has blessed us. Suffice to say that if you are a fan, you’ll enjoy the article for its sparks of Gaiman wit. If you’re not a fan, the article will imbue you with the spirit to track down damn near everything the man has written.

After all, how can you not love someone who boasts bookshelves like these. The astonishing size, and neatness, of his library causes one to react in a manner close to the titular pirate in the movie Yellowbeard as he tries to remember where he buried his treasure.

Hanker, hanker, covet, covet, want…

*Yes, yes, I realized that I opened this blog with what the advertisers consider “a call to action”.

    My. God. That. Library.

I can’t seem to contain the drool.

More so that usual, I should add.
